A great choice for globetrotters with an eye for modern style, this casio dress analog/digital timepiece enables you to view the time for two different time zones, and its world time feature means you’ll never have to guess how many hours difference it is between your location and home. This model (EFA124-1AV) offers white digits and analog clock readout on a black background. The small, square analog portion of the dial has Arabic numerals at the 10-minute marks, small minute indexes, and white hands. The digital readout below displays date, seconds, and a secondary time zone.

The digital portion of the watch also features a 1/100-second digital stopwatch with a 60-minute measurement capacity and elapsed time, lap time, split time, and 1st/2nd place modes. Other features include 29 time zones (for 48 cities) with city code display and daylight saving on/off, an auto calendar (pre-programmed until the year 2099), daily alarm, hourly time signal, and 12/24-hour formats.

It also offers a brushed stainless steel watch case, comfortable black resin band, scratch-resistant mineral crystal, AfterGlow LED electro-luminescent backlight, and water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet)--offering protection from accidental splashes as well suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and light recreational diving. It's powered by two SR927W, which should give the watch a battery life of three years.

I always wear a casio, especially the models that are medium sized and are digital or digital-analog combo. EFA124 looks great in real than it looks in photos. The watch sports a brushed aluminium style case and a glossy curved glass. The strap is rubber and is soft, not like the cheap sports watches.

As standard with Casio, it has back-lit illumination, alarm, world-time and stop-watch functions. Additionally this edifice also has reverse-monochrome digital display which can show the world-time. You can setup the analog dial to display the world-time and digital display for local time or vice-versa.

The style is great.. and I guess you can wear this for any occasion. Compliments the dressings well. I am very happy with this watch and I'd recommend for anyone who is looking for a excellent entry-level ana-digi watch that has both practicality and style.




Looks great, although it is a little smaller than it appears on the site.
Everything works the way it should, although setting the analog dial takes a little tweaking.
Haven't had a good cheap nice looking watch in a while, and this was an excellent choice to start a casio collection.


I like this hybrid style for reserving a field for just the analog dial; the hands will never conflict with any of the digital indications. Despite the small size of the analog dial the high contrast of the hands against the dial make it easy to read.
The stainless steel case is nicely finished and appears to be quite rugged. The back is held in place by four screws so changing the battery does not require unusual skills or tools.


Great watch can be deceiving as expensive to look at, looks like the tag huer from afar, pipol always say it really looks expensive and sleek,
it really rocks, i highly recomend this watch!!!!


I had some problems with the automatic hands setting: after you set the time in the digital format, the analogic watch hands should set accordingly. I found this feature sligthly imprecise, so that I had to manually refine the hands setting.
The stop-watch is too simple; it does not allow time splitting, since you can only start-stop-reset it.
The led light is not very efficient too.

Apart from these flaws, I think it is a good watch which does what it is supposed to do very well.
