This is a terrible watch! The features are hard to figure out, and the buttons are difficult to use. The watchcase is huge, but the numerals are too small to read easily and the bands across the face obscure some of the writing on the watch. It's also fairly heavy. I've had Baby-G's before, and this particular style was a BIG disappointment. I'm sending it back.
I love this watch this is the second one. The last one I bought 2 1/2 years ago and the battery started to go so I ordered a new one and so far so good. The only down side is that you really need to keep the instruction book.

Is this one "the large one" or a small one for little hands? :)

This watch was a great purchase. It looked exactly as it should and comes with some great features. I would highly recommend this watch.
This is a great watch. I wear it or one of the other two that I own everyday for work and play. It keeps great time and after a lot of searching, I found the BEST price on Amazon. I paid easily half price for this watch that still appears on the G-Shock website at full price. I'll always look at Amazon first.

And I think the color of the watch isn't so purple as in the picture.It's more like very light and clear gray.
What can i say about this watch. I love Baby-G watches and when I could not find one in IL or in Vegas I went online. It looks good on my arm and it works like I want it to. I mean, it's a watch. What can I say about a watch. It tells time fantasmagorically. I NEVER take it off. I love it and will continue to by Baby-G and only Baby-G.
I used to love G shocks so I bought this for my daughter about 7 months ago.
Since then I had to remove the 4 screws that keep the plastic cover held down, (the ring-like cover that goes around and protects the side of the face - it's not integral) to clean under it. I just did this a second time since she has got it, and decided to warn others.
It gets really disgusting and discolored from soap and dirt that gets stuck just under it. A good wash under water, is NOT enough to wash it away. It seems to be a design flaw and I am very disappointed.
Note: Its still a tough and waterproof watch, it just gets ugly after awhile.
This is a great looking watch. It goes well with my work attire. However, it isn't easy to program, set the time, etc. I know someone who actually returned it because it is so difficult to use. But, once you figure it out it is great!
Bought this watch for the girlfriend. She leads a very active lifestyle and this watch is perfect for her. It's lady-like, but super tough. And it tells time. Very little more you can ask for in a watch. Definitely recommend this watch. The one thing to keep in mind is that its a little on the large side, so if you want a dainty little watch, this is not it. Other than that, its fabulous.

I found the watch to difficult to set so I sent both watches back.
I give the watch 1 star for looks.
I purchased this watch for my fiance and she was very pleased with it. She informed me that it can store several phone numbers and it has a count down on it so you can see how many days until X-mas or whatever you want!
I wear this watch every day and swim and shower with it on. It has been very durable with one exception -- some moisture does get into the plastic around the face resulting in a little algae growth which must be cleaned periodically :( Aside from that, it has held up well, is very functional, plus I wear it to work. Granted, I work in a school so "dressed up" is a relative term, but this watch definitely goes with casual dressy. When this finally gives out, I will absolutely buy another one.
I recieved this watch in prompt time, as far as the color goes I read another review that the color shown online is much deeper than it actually is. It's more of a light/baby blue color. Programming the watch is not too difficult however the user manual print is small.
I love this watch, looks great not as big as I thought it might be, very sturdy and lots of nice features, would recommend to anyone!
Have always bought Baby G watchs for my daughter. We are never disappointed. She is a life guard and they last for many years. Since they have never broken only buy different ones because she enjoys the change.
I bought this watch for my daughter and I can't tell how happy she is with it.. she never takes it off and furthermore she has gotten into really using its multi country time feature and the Data Bank too.. Even though she is usually not into technology and or gadgets, she has managed to find out herself about most features .. really a good buy!!
I love this sports watch, it has all the neat functions I need:
world time: I travel across continents
water resistent 200 meter: no worry when rain, splash, swim etc.
shock resistent: like all good sports watch
and many more: memo, day counter, stop watch, alarm...
By the way, the picture doesn't show the true color, the real color is ligher, like a pale blue.
I purchased this watch looking for one that was more reliable and easier to set and service than the Timex watch I had just purchased (the battery died after the first day of use...also when I replaced the battery, the pop on case would not go back on. I had to take it to a jeweler and pay $6 to get it back on). I also needed a watch that was shock resistant as I am hard on watches. This watch is outstanding. It is a breeze to set and unlike some digital watches actually has features that I can use (such as the daylight savings setting, world time, date memo to name a few).
The display is crisp and clear and the bars on the face of the watch keep it from being scratched. It has a large button on the bottom for the backlight (nice and bright blue backlight allows for easy reading and it stays on for a few seconds too...just long enough to read the time) and the large buttons make it simple to set. When the battery needs to be replaced, simply unscrew the cover and that's it. The band is also removable with screws. I haven't found many watches with this feature.
My only concern was the size and weight. It's surprisingly light for it's size and even though it's a deep watch it's comfortable. Lastly, the color is simply beautiful.
I feel that I am wearing a quality product that I will get many years of use out of. I would highly recommend this product.

Great product... looks just like a picture. It's not as big as you may think, I was worried about that. Lots of different capabilities, I was a little overwhelmed when I got the watch. But after a few days, you have it all figured out. Good directions. Definitely a good buy.
I've had five Casio Baby G chronographs in five colors. I bought them in 2002. I use them daily for running and as watches when wearing sport clothes. NONE of the batteries have died yet & they are a great way to record time (running, walking, housework, whatever) and still have a girly feel to it. They are water resistant & I've worn all of mine in the shower & in the pool. Great watches.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE this watch. I get so many compliments on it!! I have been everywhere in this watch and just keeps ticking. I have been in rives, oceans, pools, and everywhere else...it keeps going. Changing the time on it can be tricky though, but I always figure it out. I would buy this watch again & again!
When I first received this watch I must say that I fell in love with the pink. The face of the watch was nice looking, but from the side view it was very bulky looking sitting on my wrist. The quality of the band was also a bit worrisome since it was basically made of plastic.
This watch is so cute! It goes perfect with my scrubs. All of my coworkers have complemented it. I haven't figured out how to use all the extra features (there are a lot), but I just need it for the time and the seconds.
I needed a watch with a stopwatch built in to help me keep track of my times. I'm running a half-marathon in December. This watch has been fabulous!! I love the color and the features that are built into the watch. I have a 16 month old niece and everytime she sees it I have to put it on her. This is a great fun watch for both young and old. I am enjoying the color and have received several compliments. It is a little tricky to set at first, but once you get the hang of it, it is fine.
