This watch is really elegant. Considering the price and the quality, I cannot mention any drawback. It's worth buying.
I had a Seiko that had cost me $100, that needed a repair estimated at $95, so I descided to retire the Seiko.
The economical price of the Casio makes it comparitively disposable as compared to a Seiko.
It looks good, keeps accurate time, and has been trouble free.
The only thing I miss a little, is that the Seiko displayed the day such as "Sat 22"--- The Casio only displays the "22"
All in all, I'm quite satisfied, and would not hesitate to recommend this watch, or to purchase another Casio product in the future.
Nice, stylish and inexpensive watch. In my opinion looks even better in real life than in pictures. However, the bracelet was too long for me and it was too tricky for me to shorten it myself. Took the watch to a jewellery shop where they shortened in five minutes and it cost only a few bucks. Bought the watch from Chelsea Watches because they have cheap and fast deliveries to Europe (product arrived in five business days to Finland). Goes nicely together with a golden and/or silver ring.
Definitely classy for what it's worth. The color matches well with my husband's platinum/gold wedding band. It is much nicer in actuality. Easy to set and as far as it says its battery lasts for 10 years, we are yet to put that to the test. Would definitely buy and recommend this product to anyone.
I have been very pleased with this watch. It has beautiful style and function. The gold hands on the blue face make for easy reading and I like the way the watch band works, very nice.

Bought this item on September 10, 2008 and by yesterday the battery was gone. Anyway for such price, I got way more than I expected.
This watch looked great on line on the photo and so I bought it. When it came in I really liked the look and size of the watch. But when I handled it, I was thinking "Gross, plasticky feeling watch". So I put it on and it was actually kinda hard to tuck in the wrist strap without it digging into my wrist as I did it. It actually hurts everytime I put it on. I had wanted a water resistant watch for my vacation to a water park with my children. I waited and ordered it late, but it came in 2 days. The watch works perfectly; so many people in the park had to ask me the time -I love it.
Light, easily readable, relatively inexpensive for someone who is rough on watches. Good deal. I have not tested it while swimming, but have gotten it wet many times. Very happy.

Excellent watch for any environment. Trust me, for the money this is the best work watch you can buy.
Mediocre watch. Hard to see the hour hand day, or especially, night. Luminosity has very short life span. Still like Casio products, though.
I bought this a few months ago for my husband, to use as a work watch. His job is highway construction, and he is VERY rough on his watches...he typically goes through a couple a year. Normally the crystals of the watch crack quickly, he breaks the band, or busts off the stem.
So far, this watch is holding up impeccably well...and it still looks new, with one small exception. The black 'crystal protector' (not sure what you call that thing), is slightly scratched. But he did that by abusing it at work.

I bought this watch 20 days ago. Consider these issues before the purchase. This watch is good for small wriste'd people like myself case diameter 34.6mm. Considering the 10 year battery life,people buy it to last 10yrs, but the case material is made of resin and it gets scratched easily. I already have some deep scratches and paint has worn off in 20 days. The strap is also resin and so you would need to air your hand where the strap lays daily. There is no count-down timer. I guess for a 5 bucks extra u might get a watch with a stainless steel case. Not a good watch for a long term purchase. That said the time,date and seconds are clearly visible,and it is very easy to setup and start using the watch.
It does not matter whether the watch is new or used, but it does matter to me whether the battery works or not. I've not had the watch for long, so I am unhappy that after so short a time, the battery no longer works--
otherwise, I'd give it a 10/10.
I recently purchased the watch to use in the pool and other outdoor activities. I have been purchasing this type of watch for years, so I am suprised the watch scratched so easily - easy enough that I do not know when it happened, just noticed it one day. Otherwise, the watch is easy to read and use. I am expecting the watch to flood in the pool soon.
I like the looks. It was very easy to set compared to other sports watches I've had. I have to admit that I primarily use it as an alarm clock (sitting on my bureau). I am slightly disappointed that the alarm only sounds for 10 seconds. Other watches that I've had, sounded for a minute, I think, and they got louder if you didn't shut them off. This one does not get louder and 10 seconds is pretty short.
But I guess that's why the battery is supposed to last 10 years instead of running out as the batteries did in all my others. Battery replacement is always a hassle. None of the stores around here will change your battery if you didn't buy the watch there. So after buying online I was always stuck.
I bought this model because it looked like it had the clearest display and it does. I don't like the little circle thing in the crystal which apparently is there just to count off seconds even though you have numbers already counting off seconds. But not a big deal. I find this watch attractive enough to wear if I ever want to.
I was not looking for a countdown timer so I don't miss it. It has dual time zone display that I may like when I travel.
I love this watch! I has an easy to read display and counts off the seconds too (making it great as a nurse at work). I love using it for running, but I haven't needed to use the other features (time clock, laps, etc.). So as a basic watch it look great, isn't too big and has proven well worth the price.
since it doesn't have the countdown timer, it's not really worth it. I returned this one and got another with the timer.
I abuse my watches, so there's no point in getting an expensive one. The two features I'd like to change about this watch are: 1) Add a timer feature and 2)Make the buttons smaller so they don't get accidentally pushed. I had a Timex Expedition for many years, but they don't make it any more. This one is probably slightly dressier-looking than the more rugged Expedition, but I prefer the Expedition for its timer and it's smaller buttons.
