El reloj tiene buen aspecto, robusto, correa de nylon muy bien presentada, lo unico que para programar las fases lunares, ubicación por grados UGT, es complicado y al ser muy pequeño el display hay que tener buena vista. La tapa trasera a pesar de que la caja (CASE) es de acero, no es de rosca, sino lleva 4 tornillos.Por el precio es un producto bueno.

once you set the watch for your location the fish feeding indicator is fairly close. I fish daily and have been watching it for 2 months now. with the exception of changes in barometric preasure the watch calculates top feeding times and seems to nail it within 30 min, if they had included a barometer in the watch and cross referenced it to the moon phase it would have been near perfect. the few times it has been off were due to obvious preasure changes, if your lucky enough to be out while the preasure is falling before a storm and the moon phase says dinner time for trout you'll have a fish every other cast or so. I'd give it 5 stars but the light could be better (it works, but barely) and the band size (12mm or 13mm I think) makes finding replacement bands difficult, considering what the watch is for it would be nice to have a more secure band like the double wrap or nato style bands but unfortunately they don't come that small.

The watch is a very good looking watch....however: The band is very small, I think to small..I'm a big guy with a small wrist...it barely goes to the first hole on the band and then the slot that hold the tongue is to big and does not stay in place....as to being a leather band...2cm from the watch is leather, the rest is Nylon...when you press the button for light only from 9 to 3 lights up...the top half...forget about seeing anything below that..The lower half of the watch is very small and sometimes hard to read...I have not been out in the sun with it as yet...

The watch is basically as advertised. "Cons" would be that it's hard to upgrade/replace the band because of the narrow pin connections...and the light isn't nearly as good as the backlit "indiglo" watches. So far though it keeps time, the alarm works, I can't figure out how to calibrate my location for the moon cycle stuff...but that's a gimick feature anyway.

Casio Men's Pathfinder Forester Fishing Moon Phase Watch #PAS400B-5V

The watch has all of the buttons I was hoping for, I am not sure how effective it is at predicting best fishing times and setup of the watch took some time to find the proper lat and long and the gmt time difference. Overall I really like the watch and with summer coming maybe I'll like it even more.


I bought this watch to see if it could work as a woman's watch (narrow wrist) because it is the same dimensions as the new purported "woman's" Pathfinder watch (which costs $150 and I had no way to try that one on ahead of purchase). This is a good watch & I enjoy the nylon/leather band & moon phases features. The swivel pin attachment of the band is the only way this watch can fit on my wrist. I have to set it on the 2nd hole also. Really, I call it too big (too thick, to large a diameter) for my wrist, but what can I do? Until Casio makes a decent REALISTICALLY-sized woman's watch with the cool G-Shock, Atomic Timekeeping, and Solar-powered features...this is a good second choice. For the price, it's great.


I had a previous version of this product and enjoyed it for many years. This watch seems to have better features and battery life. I enjoy the sunrise/sundown feature and the moon/fishing info. The features and price of this watch are fantastic.


works great only thing husband does not like the watch band--causes problems with his work and the way that it is attached to the watch you cannot buy a different one to replace it.


I bought this watch for my husband who is hard of hearing and could not hear the alarm on watches. It took a while for him to realize when the alarm was going off. Once he got accustomed to it, I feel it helps him.

I bought this watch for my boyfriend who is an avid fly fisher. I chance upon this watch while "hunting" for his birthday present.

The features, like moon's phase, is interesting and esp. the vibration alert which could come in handy while he out fishing.

He loves it! And now he wears it everyday!


I like the watch it is what I expected, except it is a little big for me. I like the nightime feature and also the sunrise and sunset times that were not on my older version.


I had two other watches with audible alarms -- which failed to alert me in crowded areas. This watch's vibrating alarm works very well despite noisy surroundings, and the night light numerals are very clear and readable even without my glasses. I'm very satisfied with the product. Setting it is not intuitive and requires following the written instructions that accompany the watch.


I just was looking for a excellent outdoors watch that fit in with hiking and fishing. This is it. You don't need to spend $500 on a watch like this. Buy it and be happy.
