First off let me say that the band isn't as dark in real life as it is in the picture that I saw on Amazon. It's like a cotton candy pink. And yes, it stands a little tall on your wrist and can seem a little bulky if you're not used to a sports watch. But it looks so cute! It's a perfect hybrid of sport utility and pretty/girly. This is my second G shock and my first one is still going, after 20 years, so I know these watches last for a long time. My husband is jealous at how good this watch looks and wants a masculine one for himself. Highly recommend this watch for looks and durability.

I bought this watch for my wife and she loves it. I am very pleased with this purchase. The watch looks bulky but cute, it definitely looks better on the wrist that in the photo.I highly recommend it.
I bought this for my daughter and she is really happy. Actually my wife is a little jealous, she wants one too.
The watch is nice and looks great and like all the G-Shocks it's very dependable.
I strongly recommend this one. You can't beat this watch for that price.
Before I go on, I must explain the 4-star rating, instead of a 5-star rating. I have a small wrist, and this is indeed a tall, wide watch. I am aware of it when I'm wearing a coat/jacket, and it does occasionally literally rub me the wrong way. (OK, one other thing is that while it does indeed tell you what time it is in a zillion other time zones, one does have to know some pretty obscure city codes for some pretty un-obscure places.)
Having said that, I really like all its other features. I've had a few multi-function digital watches, and this is by far the most logical and easy to use. It has a logic that I quickly remembered, and I haven't had to refer back to the owner's manual for a refresher, and I use most of the features regularly. (A contrast would be that with other similar watches I'll make an effort to figure out which combination of buttons to push for how long to achieve a certain result, and it never sticks and I eventually lose the manual, and end up using the watch for the time function alone...)
I confess that I thought the analog-digital combination was more of a novelty/looks thing - which did appeal to me - but it has its usefulness as well; one can be timing something, for example, and still easily see both the chronological time and the elapsed time.

Nice sport watch but can be a little hard to read the face because of the background color. If I were to buy another I think I would go for a darker face with brighter hands. Also don't lose your directions it can be confusing to set up the first time.
It was difficult to adjust the time eventhough I followed the instruction. I never recommend this item to anybody.
I am very satisfied with this watch. It is sturdy, cute, and easy to read. It fits my needs for finding something that is sporty with a slightly feminine flair. Only thing I can think of that could be different is that the watch is not back-lit but instead there is a light that shines up from the bottom of the watch face, making it a bit harder to read in the dark than if it had overall back-lighting. I'd definitely recommend the watch though. I like it.
I wanted a black and pink watch. When I got it I was going to return it because I thought it didn't look like the watch I chose. The face is silver with shiny rose colored numbers and the band is more dark gray. I ended up keeping it and liking it although I still wish it were more pink. The baby-g is a great watch for an outdoor/active woman. I love that they make women's watches more substantial without looking too much like I'm wearing my husbands watch. Good product not the best picture.

Is the most adecuate kind of watch for a girl, my 11 years aold girl loves it, she found easy to use and beautiful.
The can improve the packaging, because the one I'd receive was very weak and looks cheap.
What a wonderful watch for a great prize. It even fits my daughter's very slim wrist. She loves it. It's stylish. The stopwatch function helps her keep track of her piano practice.

Bought this one for my wife. She can't seem to buy a watch that lasts over a year for her. I only buy Casio because they about never fail to last forever. I about have to take a hammer to mine to make an excuse to buy a new one. I have 3 casios that I trade off.
Anyway, the problem with Casio is they are a man's thing. They don't make eligent women's watches so my wife wouldn't buy one. I bought this one for her because like other G watches it is probably indestructable and I hoped she would be OK with its size and appearance. Well it looks OK and she seems to like the appearance well enough to wear it. She works hard and has her hands in water alot and likes not having to worry about getting the watch wet. Additionally, the watch has great features including the timer function. None of mine have that and I wish they did.
She hasn't had it long enough to see how long it will last for her, but I imagine it will last until she decides to take a hammer to it!
Here are my only gripes with her watch, which don't bother her at all. The display is a little bit light. Its readable enough, but the contrast is not nearly as good as other Casios I've seen. This is not a big problem, though, and this characteristic might enhance the battery life, which leads me to my final comment...
Casio women's watches only have an expected battery life of 2 or 3 years (or at least the ones that I've seen). Men's Casios are 5 to 10 years, and of course if you buy a solar rechargable one, I guess theoretically the battery could last a life time. Why can't they make women's watches with a battery life of 5 to 10 years.
Oh well, this Baby-G battery is good for 3 years, which is a least 3 times longer than my wife has ever had a watch to even run. Besides, I can just replace to battery if it dies before the watch!
Oh, I forgot, the accuracy on my wife's watch is actually better than the guaranteed accuracy of +-15 seconds per month. It runs about 11 seconds slow per month, which is just a little over 2 minutes per year. That's pretty good.
Enjoying the watch. An error on your site showed the watch was available in purple; it arrived in pink. Apparently, this model is not offered in the color I ordered. I accepted the alternate color after being offered a full refund.

Nice product, easy to use and set. I like the little dial in the upper left corner of the screen which tells you if you an in the AM or PM or using the stopwatch. It's a convenient feature. The backlight is a major plus! I found that the women's version of this kind of watch does not compare to the men's.
I love this watch. I do not have to worry about having to learn how to use it. There are no bells and whistles but if you want a watch that is easy and hassle free this is the one to get.
A far more readable and useful watch than the metal-clad analog watches that sell for much more.
Have owned a number of Casio watches. This one is about the right size for a guy (maybe could be a tad larger), easy to use. Numbers and date easy to read. Uses its space well, low weight.
After many years of use, mine finally leaked water into it while kayaking and going under water many times. It still works, but some of the numbers don't fully display.
I got this watch years ago on Amazon because I wanted a cheap alarm watch for travels. My thought was "Why pay hundreds for an expensive watch that tells time just as well as this one? And if it breaks, it's [...]." Turns out, this watch has gone with me to Antarctica for three field seasons now. We go out into the deep plateau, and camp out for weeks at a time, hundreds of miles from the nearest base. It's survived with me camping out at -46C one January. The buckle finally broke last week when I banged it into some equipment in the lab. I'd probably buy another, and keep the old one as a memento of all those trips.
Bought the Watch because of good past experience with the ruggedness and features, including a light switch, to illuminate the dial at night. This one never lit! Bummer. The stores solution, refund the purchase price, but I'm still out the shipping both ways. And, I needed to find a replacement. It sure would have been nice if the store had replaced the watch, no charge, after making sure the replacement worked.
I purchased this for camping and hiking. Figured if I smacked it on a rock or whacked it on a tree limb and it broke, so what? I'd throw it away like I have so many others. That was five years and I don't know how many camping trips ago. OK, the face is scratched and the lettering on the "LIGHT" button is hard to read but I've beat the daylights out of this thing and it still works perfectly. Dead accurate, strong illumination, very light weight, water and shock PROOF. No kidding, I've chopped a ton of wood with it on my wrist and it didn't bother it at all. It's been in the rain, ocean, rivers, showers, etc... and there's with no sign of leaks. The battery lasted three years and took all of ten minutes for me to replace it with a coin cell I got from the local drug store. (The back of the case is screwed on with standard Philips-head screws.) Another plus is the size and thickness. The face is big enough that I don't need my glasses to see it in a dark tent at night but it is small and thin enough that it doesn't interfere with cuffs and gloves in the winter. Best part: You don't need a double "E" degree to set the thing and the alarm is loud. Wear it to church with your Sunday-go-to-meeting suit? Well, no... After all it does look like a watch you spent 20 bucks on. All time best watch for camping and hiking? You betcha! If you're involved in Scouting, get a handful and use them as door prizes and rewards. The Scouts love them!
What a great watch, had a gift card to Amazon so decided to buy another watch since my other one broke. This watch is extremely easy to use for settings, has a large face and is very comfortable. I would recommend this watch to anyone!!
I didn't buy this at amazon but from a Casio outlet for 15$ about 10 years back. Strap cracked in a couple of years and I replaced it with ones you can find at walmart. Great watch. I've tried, tested, scratched, dropped and used it for 10 years. I will not give this watch away ever just because it is nostalgic for me as well as a work horse. Needs battery replacement now since the illuminator blue light has turned dull. I think I've done it once before but that's it.
Great simple digital watch with alarm, and stop watch. Buy it if you can below 15$ but expect to change the strap in a couple.
I didn't buy mine from Amazon but I thought I'd submit a review here nonetheless. This has been a great everyday watch for me. I'm a warehouse manager and I've worn this watch to work everyday for the past 2 years. To steal another companies catch phrase "it takes a licking and keeps on ticking". I've never had a problem with it and I've only just replaced the original band 2 weeks ago. I couldn't find a Casio replacement strap so I had to go with a Timex (plastic) that was very close but with not quite as nice a feel. At this excellent price it's almost better to buy a new one versus replacing the strap but it's been so good to me I just couldn't bear to throw it away before it's time.

This watch fit what I was looking for in a watch. I live an active life and running is a must, this product has the simplicity and functionality any runner can appreciate, light weight and an appealing battery life makes this watch a great option if you are looking for these attribute in a sport watch.
The watch functions as advertised, but I found it too big and bulky for my wrist. I traded it in for a Casio DB36-1AV instead.
I was looking for a timer for my husband to use when he umps baseball and nothing was exactly right. Then I found this watch and with its multiple timers and alarms it more than meets his needs and looks very nice doing it.
I use this as my running watch. The lap/split and memory features work fine although they're not exactly intuitive. Probably helps to read the manual. Also, the lighting feature is very 80s ... instead of Indiglo style back lighting the Casio watch uses a yellow side light.
I ordered this watch for my husband as a Father's Day gift. He absolutely loved it, and is still bragging to his friends about all its features. This watch has 5 alarm settings, a stop-watch timer, a normal timer, an automatic backlight (comes on when you tilt your arm 45-degrees), a pedometer, and comes with a 10-year battery. My husband says he likes the large programming buttons better than his old watch (which had small recessed buttons). He says this watch is very easy to program and to use all its features. Great price too!
